6 layer PCB, 1.6mm stack up

This is a courtesy email to let you know that a 6-layer PCB is basically a 4-layer PCB with 2 extra layers added on top and bottom. 

The standard 1.6mm stack-up is as follows.

 

-----17.5um copper + plate

-----PP 1080

-----PP 7628

-----0.38mm FR-4 core, 2 x 35um copper

-----PP 1080 x 2

-----0.38mm FR-4 core, 2 x 35um copper

----- PP 7628

-----PP 1080

-----17.5um copper + plate

 

Actually, the stack-up of multilayer boards can be done in many different ways. So the thickness ranges from 1.0mm to 2.5mm etc. You probably also have your own configuration for the special purpose like controlled impedance.
